Domino's Pizza is shaking up its C-suite.
The quick-serve pizza chain said that Ritch Allison, who has served as CEO since 2018, plans to retire. He will continue in the role through April 30. Domino’s has appointed Russell Weiner, currently COO and president, Domino's U.S., as its next CEO, effective May 1.
Weiner has served in his current role at Domino's since July 2020. Since joining the chain as executive VP – chief marketing officer in 2008, he has been integral to driving results in the U.S., the company said. During his tenure, Domino’s annual U.S. retail sales have grown from approximately $3 billion to more than $8 billion. Also, the company’s digital mix has grown from 11.5% of U.S. sales to more than 75% and its U.S. store count has grown over 25%.
In other appointments, Domino’s named Sandeep Reddy as CFO, effective April 1. Reddy is currently serving as CFO of Six Flags, with plans to resign on March 27. Prior to Six Flags, he served as CFO for fashion brand Guess.
“With Russell [Weiner] as CEO and with the addition of Sandeep [Reddy] as CFO, supported by the rest of our leadership team, I am comfortable and confident stepping aside, knowing that Domino’s has strong leaders who are passionate and committed to our business,” stated Allison, who will remain in an advisory capacity until he retires from the company on July 15, 2022.
