A new tenant has joined the roster at Colony Place in Plymouth, Mass.

DLC Management and its in-house Renovo Construction and NWS Architects teams are celebrating the opening of a new ground-up, 27,000-sq.-ft. Nordstrom Rack store at the nearly 400,000-sq.-ft. shopping center. The store opened on Sept. 4.

The ground-up store opened less than a year after the project broke ground in November 2025. It was delivered on time and on budget through DLC’s fully-integrated platform, with Renovo Construction serving as general contractor and NWS Architects providing design services.

“Nordstrom Rack brings real retail firepower to Colony Place,” said Adam Ifshin, founder and CEO of DLC. “It strengthens an already compelling destination and gives shoppers another reason to choose this center. Just as important, this opening shows what is possible when ownership, construction, design and the retailer operate as one team with a shared focus on execution.”

DLC says the ground-up opening demonstrates how its owner-operator model and integrated platform can connect leasing, development, construction, design, and property operations to “move projects forward with greater speed and accountability.”

“There was an opportunity to welcome Nordstrom Rack to the center, and we had the right location but not the right space,” said Chris Ressa, executive VP and chief operating officer of DLC. “We created that opportunity by developing unused land within the center. That’s often where the best value creation comes from, not just leasing existing space, but finding new ways to use the real estate.”

Headquartered in Elmsford, N.Y., DLC has more than 90 properties under management, spanning 24 million square feet.

Nordstrom operates nearly 400 Nordstrom, Nordstrom Local and Nordstrom Rack locations nationwide.
