David’s Bridal will debut a limited-edition rhinestone jacket during its first-ever live TikTok shopping.
David’s Bridal has signed a TV celebrity to host the brand’s first-ever live TikTok shopping experience.
The bridal and special occasion dress retailer has tapped Kaitlyn Bristowe, a current bride-to-be and former contestant and co-host of The Bachelor and Bachelorette, to host the “David’s Bridal First-Annual NashBlast” on Friday, Aug. 19. The experience will include a Nashville-based RSVP-only event that will serve as the official drop for a custom denim jacket with rose gold rhinestones that was designed exclusively for David’s Bridal by designer DanielXDiamond. (The jacket comes with two patches, “Bride” and “Party,” in white and rose gold.)
As part of the experience, the retailer will also host a live virtual shopping party on TikTok during the NashBlast party at which viewers from all over will be able to purchase the limited-edition jacket, of which only 1,000 have been made.
The event will be held at Viralish House, a TikTok-focused influencer house located in the upscale Belle Meade area of Nashville.
The livestream event is not David’s Bridal first foray into the TikTok universe. In July, the retailer said it is partnering with digital advertising platform Kerv Interactive and digital agency partner January Digital to offer shoppable content on the TikTok short video platform.
David’s Bridal operates more than 300 stores across the U.S., Canada, U.K., and has franchise locations in Mexico.
