The developer of bold Illinois properties such as The Levee District in East Peoria and the rising Rock Run Crossings in Joliet has taken on a new chief of real estate.
Cullinan Properties has hired Mike Tchang as its senior VP of that department. Tchang comes to his new position from Brookfield Properties, where he held asset management and finance positions.
Most of Tchang’s career in retail real estate was spent at Retail Properties of America (now merged with Kite Realty) where he spent nearly 10 years and rose to VP of asset management for its Eastern Division.
“Bringing someone as talented as Mike on board adds to an already exceptional management team, which will be tasked to expediate Cullinan’s growth strategy,” stated Matthew Beverly, CEO of Cullinan Properties.
Tchang has an MBA in real estate and finance from the University of Michigan, where he also earned a degree in mechanical engineering.
