Crisp & Green continues national expansion

Crisp & Green
Crisp & Green expects to open 50 restaurants across 15 states by yearend.

Crisp & Green is set to enter another state.

The Minnesota-based, healthy-eating fast-casual brand will open its first Arkansas location in April, in Bentonville. Four more Arkansas sites are in development.

Crisp & Green, which recently announced its largest franchise deal to date, is on track to double its unit count in 2023. With approximately 29 locations open, the company expects to open 50 restaurants across 15 states by the end of the year.

With the Bentonville opening, Crisp & Green will enter its eighth state — a number the brand is on pace to double before year’s end. The five-unit Arkansas expansion is part of a multi-market development agreement with The Green Guys, which will kick off in Bentonville and be followed by restaurant openings in Arkansas and North Carolina.

Crisp & Green is part of the Steele Brands portfolio, which also includes Stalk & Spade, and Paco & Lime. The company noted it has more than 250 restaurants built and in development across all three brands and growing as of March 10.

Founded in 2016, Crisp & Green is known for its nourishing bowls, salads, smoothies and more that are handcrafted with sustainable, consciously sourced ingredients. The brand places special emphasis on its "commitment to community'' by partnering with local fitness experts to provide complimentary classes to their guests.

“As we embark on our most ambitious development year in company history, our Crisp & Green mission remains as it was when we began: to provide world-class food and hospitality for our guests, and become an integral part of their local communities,” said Steele Smiley, founder and executive chairman of Steele Brands. “We are strategically growing with dedicated franchise partners who are as invested in the brand and community as we are – with the same conviction for improving the lives of our many guests through nourishing food and a warm, welcoming place to gather in their own communities.”
