RetailMeNot and Coresight Research are offering early online holiday promotional events.
In addition to the online holiday extravaganzas being hosted by Tier I retailers, consumers will have at least two other seasonal sales to shop.
Early holiday promotions are proving to be an industry trend, with big-name retailers including Amazon, Walmart, Target and Kohl’s all launching seasonal sales events this October.
However, at two other noteworthy online sales promotions are taking place in the coming weeks: the Coresight Research 10.10 Shopping Festival and RetailMeNtot Cash Back Day. Following are more details on each event.
Coresight Research – 10.10 Shopping Festival
For the third straight year, retail research/advisory firm Coresight Research hosts its 10.10 Shopping Festival on October 10, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. EDT. This edition also marks the second straight year the event will be fully livestreamed. Coresight is presenting the event in partnership with livestream shopping platform Market.live by,Verb Technology Company Inc., as well as video shopping SaaS provider Bambuser and influencer commerce company

RetailMeNot – Cash Back Day
Online deals and discounts platform RetailMeNot is running its fourth annual Cash Back Day national retail holiday with exclusive online cashback offers from hundreds of retailers over 48 hours, Nov. 3-4.
Originally celebrated by RetailMeNot as a one-day event, Cash Back Day now offers two full days of cashback offers from over 1,100 participating retailers, including Best Buy, Samsung, Macy’s, Lowe’s, and Groupon.

According to RetailMeNot, Cash Back Day shoppers earned an average of $18 back per purchase in 2021, for a total of nearly $300,000. To date, RetailMeNot says it has paid shoppers nearly $1 million for the past three Cash Back Day events.
Shoppers will be able to get up to 20% cash back at select participating retailers and brands. Customers can log into the RetailMeNot platform, find offers, hit the “Shop Now” button, and be taken directly to the retailer’s site where they can shop and check out as normal.
Within days, customers will receive an email confirmation that they have successfully used a cash back offer. Within 45 days of purchase, the cash back they earned will be available in their RetailMeNot account, from where they can redeem it via Venmo or PayPal.
