Conn’s HomePlus continues to expand its footprint.

The specialty retailer of furniture, appliances and consumer electronics has opened a store at Fayette Pavilion, Fayetteville, Ga. The 27,000-sq.-ft. stores gives Conn’s a total number of 168 locations across 15 states.

Earlier this month, Conn’s opened a 30,000-sq.-ft. location in Jacksonville — its 15th store in Florida.

Conn's HomePlus stores feature a wide selection of home goods including appliances, furniture, mattresses, consumer electronics, and home office products from national brands. The retailer offers a next-day “white glove “delivery service for all in-stock items throughout the store, as well as personalized payment options, including flexible in-house financing.

"We are pleased to grow our presence in Georgia, and we are excited to enter the greater Atlanta market,”  said Norm Miller, interim president, and CEO, Conn's HomePlus.

Miller served as Conn’s president and CEO for six years, from 2015 to 2021. He took on the duties of interim president and CEO in October when Chandra Holt stepped down as president and CEO, and from the company’s board amid a big revenue drop. Holt departed after only 14 months in the role after being named as Miller’s replacement.

In addition to previously leading the company as CEO, Miller served as Conn’s executive chairman from August 2021 until April 2022. He has been a member of the board since September 2015.

In August, Conn’s opened five store-within-a-store pilot concepts in five Belk department store locations under the name "Conn's x Belk."  Ranging from about 10,000 to 25,000 sq. ft. depending on the specific Belk location, the Conn's x Belk shops feature a name-brand assortment of all major Conn's product categories, including furniture, home electronics and appliances.
