  • Tractor Supply adds Luxottica exec to board

    Tractor Supply Company has elected Mark J. Weikel to the company's board of directors. Weikel currently serves as president and CEO of Luxottica Retail Optical North America.

    Prior to his various positions at Luxottica, Weikel served as COO of Lord & Taylor. Before Lord & Taylor, Weikel was president & COO of Victoria's Secret Stores at Limited Brands. Earlier in his career, Weikel held several management positions at the May Department Stores Company.

  • Tractor Supply Co. joins Nasdaq-100

    Brentwood, Tenn. – Tractor Supply Company has been added to the Nasdaq -100 Index, effective with the market open on Monday, Dec. 23, 2013. Shares of TSCO will also be included in the Nasdaq-100 Index Tracking Stock (Nasdaq: QQQ).

    "We are proud to be joining this elite group of public companies traded on the Nasdaq exchange," said Anthony Crudele, executive VP and CFO. "Being added to the Nasdaq-100 Index is a reflection of Tractor Supply Company's significant growth and its stock performance.”

     

  • Tractor Supply board chairman succession announced

    Tractor Supply Company has elected Cynthia T. Jamison to its board of directors. Jamison will succeed James F. Wright as chairman of the board upon the conclusion of Wright's term at the end of the year.

    Wright will resign his position as a board member effective December 31, 2013, consistent with his plan to serve as executive chairman of the board with a term of one year, as previously announced in September 2012.

    BRENTWOOD, Tenn. — Tractor Supply Company, the largest retail farm and ranch store chain in the United States, has announced that its board increased the company's quarterly cash dividend 30% to $0.26 per share.

    Tractor Supply Company president and COO Greg Sandfort will succeed James Wright as CEO of the 1,135 store chain effective January 1.

  • Sandfort takes on new role at Tractor Supply

    BRENTWOOD, Tenn. — Tractor Supply Company has announced that, effective Feb. 15, Gregory Sandfort assumed the title of COO in addition to his role as president. As planned, Stanley Ruta, who previously served as EVP and COO, retired from Tractor Supply Company effective Feb.  As part of this transition, Ruta served in the role of VP special projects since July 2011.

    BRENTWOOD, Tenn. — Tractor Supply Company announced Monday that Alexander Stanton has been appointed as SVP supply chain and Christine Skold has been appointed as VP investor relations, strategy and tractor value system.
