  • Kroger names president of QFC division

    CINCINNATI — Kroger has announced the promotion of Joe Fey as president of the Quality Food Centers (QFC) division.

    Fey, 57, has been VP merchandising for the company's Michigan division. He succeeds Donna Giordano, who was recently promoted to president of the Ralphs division in California.

  • New leadership announced at Sports Authority

    ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Sports Authority announced that Darrell Webb has been named as interim CEO of the company, replacing David Campisi who is resigning as CEO and president of the company. 

    As previously reported by Retailing Today, Webb currently serves as the chairman and CEO of Jo-Ann Stores. Webb previously has held senior positions at The Kroger Company, Fred Meyer Stores and Quality Food Centers. Webb will retain his position as chairman of Jo-Ann Stores while serving as Interim CEO of Sports Authority. 

  • Ralphs appoints Donna Giordano as president

    CINCINNATI — Kroger on Tuesday promoted Donna Giordano to the role of president of the Ralphs division.

    Giordano, 57, has been president of the company's Quality Food Centers division, based in Seattle, since 2002. She succeeds Mike Donnelly, who was recently promoted to SVP merchandising for Kroger.

  • Kroger names Giordano head of Ralphs division

    Cincinnati -- The Kroger Co. said Tuesday that it has promoted its current Quality Food Centers division president Donna Giordano to president of the Ralphs Division.

    Giordano, who has been based in Seattle with QFC, replaces Mike Donnelly, who was promoted to senior VP merchandising for Kroger. She will be based in Los Angeles.
