  • Red Mango makes state debut at Galleria at Fort Lauderdale

    Fort Lauderdale, Fla. -- Yogurt purveyor Red Mango said it will open its first Florida mall location at The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale.

    The new location will be near Dillard’s on the upper Palm Court level. The Broward County mall is anchored by Neiman Marcus, Macy’s and Dillard’s.

  • Mulberry, Robert Graham, Vilebrequin debut at Mall at Short Hills

    Short Hills, N.J. -- Mulberry has opened a new store at Mall at Short Hills (N.J.), on the upper level near Bloomingdale’s, and will be followed by Robert Graham and Vilebrequin openings this summer.

    Robert Graham will make its New Jersey debut this summer in its third freestanding U.S. boutique. And men’s swimwear retailer Vilebrequin makes its New Jersey debut this summer as well.

    Newly opened stores recently added to this list include Ermenegildo Zegna, Miu Miu, Prada, Victorinox Swiss Army and
    Vineyard Vines. 

  • Neiman Marcus, Walnut Creek, Calif.

    Neiman Marcus took full advantage of its Northern California locale in the design of its store in Walnut Creek, Calif. The interior finishes and materials draw from the rich colors of the surrounding landscape, and the space takes advantage of the famed California sunshine. The two-level store—the 42nd Neiman Marcus store to date—offers a fresh take on modern luxury shopping in a smaller format for the upscale retailer, featuring 85.870 sq. ft. of selling space. 

  • Seasons 52 to debut in Dallas

    Dallas -- Restaurant chain Seasons 52 said it has selected NorthPark Center for its first location in Dallas. The new Seasons 52 restaurant at NorthPark Center is expected to open this fall.

    The restaurant will be located between Neiman Marcus and Dillard's, with entrances from both inside the mall and street side.

  • Jones Lang LaSalle awarded assignments for retail centers in Florida

    Orlando, Fla. -- Jones Lang LaSalle announced that it was selected for two retail assignments in Florida: management and leasing for the Galleria at Fort Lauderdale in Ft. Lauderdale and management for Vero Beach Outlets in Vero Beach.

    The Galleria at Fort Lauderdale is a 964,423-sq.-ft. super-regional mall in South Florida, anchored by Neiman Marcus, Macy’s and Dillard’s.

  • Survey: Wealthy shoppers rank Nordstrom as top luxury retailer

    New York -- Shoppers in the United States earning at least $150,000 annually rank Nordstrom highest among luxury retailers, according to a survey by the Luxury Institute.

    According to the 2012 Luxury Consumer Experience Index, which ranks retailers based on customers' evaluations of a brand's store personnel, shopping environment and degree of satisfaction with the total experience, Nordstrom earns the top overall score of 8.41 out of 10.

    Bergdorf Goodman ranked second (8.37), and Barneys New York third (8.23).

  • IBM to acquire Tealeaf Technology

    Armonk, N.Y. -- IBM  announced a definitive agreement to acquire Tealeaf Technology, San Francisco, a provider of customer experience analytics software that helps organizations to gain intelligence and react more swiftly to consumer trends in today's digitally transformed marketplace. Financial details were not disclosed.

    The acquisition is expected to close in second quarter 2012.
