    Pittsburgh – Who said women don’t like sports? Dick’s Sporting Goods certainly never said so.

    Dick’s is launching Chelsea Collective, a specialty women's fitness and lifestyle boutique. The first two Chelsea Collective locations will open in August 2015 in Tysons Corner, Virginia at Tysons Corner Center and Pittsburgh at Ross Park Mall.

    The retailer is launching a new "fitness and lifestyle" boutique concept aimed at women called Chelsea Collective. The first two Chelsea Collective locations will open in August in Tysons Corner, Va., at Tysons Corner Center and Pittsburgh at Ross Park Mall. 

  • Dick’s Sporting Goods to offer two concepts under new banner

    Pittsburgh – Dick’s Sporting Goods is opening a combination store format.

    The retailer will open its first “All-American Sports Center” on July 23 at McGowin Park in Mobile, Alabama. The concept features a Dick's Sporting Goods and a Field & Stream store in one location under the same roof.  

    Customers benefit from an expanded assortment and the ability to move between the two stores once inside, creating a unique, exciting shopping experience, Dick’s said.

  • Dick's opening new stores in Va., S.C., and Fla.

    Dick's Sporting Goods Inc. is opening four new stores this month as the company moves forward with its plan to open as many as 750 stores by 2017.

    The company will distribute free Reebok Play Dry T-Shirts to the first 100 people in queue on the opening day. Also, the early birds will get an opportunity to open the DICK'S Sporting Goods Gift Locker on all three days. Moreover, on Saturday and Sunday, the company plans to give away free Mystery Gift Cards worth $5–$500 to the first 100 adults in line.
