    Boston -- A retailer’s website is its most dominant channel for digital marketing, according to study done by A.T. Kearney done in conjunction with the National Association of Drug Stores. The survey findings were released on Monday, during the NACDS Total Store Expo Insight Session "Winning with Digital Marketing."

  • Profitero ramps up U.S. expansion with new hire

    Profitero, a leading global provider of online insights and e-commerce intelligence for retailers and brands, has appointed Raj Khathuria as VP of sales for North America.

    Khathuria has more than 17 years of sales management experience. He previously led the North American sales operation for MarkMonitor, a global leader in online brand protection (acquired by Thomson Reuters in 2012), where he was responsible for growth in key vertical markets including consumer goods, luxury apparel and electronics.

  • Former Scotts exec in new marketing role

    The nation’s largest retailer of used cars has turned to the CPG world to hire Jim Lyski as its new chief marketing officer.

    Lyski spent the past three years as chief marketing officer at The Scotts Miracle-Gro Company where he led all brand responsibilities, including global innovation, product development, positioning, advertising, packaging, pricing and promotions. Prior to Scotts, Lyski was CMO at Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company. He has also held marketing roles at Cigna Healthcare and FedEx.
