Claire’s opening in-store shops at Macy’s

Claire’s is opening in-store shops at select Macy’s stores, including its Herald Square flagship.

Claire’s Holdings continues to diversify its retail footprint via partnerships with other retailers.

The teen and tween fashion accessories brand is teaming up with Macy’s to open shop-in-store locations in more than 20 Macy’s locations nationwide. The assortment will feature hair accessories, jewelry and cosmetics and seasonal items for holiday parties and celebrations

Beginning this month, shoppers will have access to Claire’s products in Macy’s flagships within key markets, including New York City (Herald Square); Garden City, N.Y. (Roosevelt Field); Costa Mesa, Calif. (South Coast Plaza); San Francisco; Union Square in San Francisco;  Miami (Dadeland Mall and Aventura Mall); Atlanta (Lenox Square); and  Honolulu (Ala Moana). The assortment will also be available in Macy’s stores in Orlando and Las Vegas.

“Macy’s is the ultimate destination for trends and fashion,” said Stephen Moore, Macy’s senior VP of merchandising. "We are thrilled to partner with Claire’s to expand our jewelry and accessories assortment and give our customers even more ways to own their style.”

In September, Claire’s announced it was expanding its partnership with Walmart to more than 1,200 additional stores. Claire's products are now available in more than 2,500 Walmart stores and in more than 360 Claire's store-in-stores at Walmart locations, as well as the discounter’s website. The brand was recognized last year as Walmart's top vendor for jewelry and accessories.  

Claire’s, whose partnership with Walmart began in 2018, now sells its products through more than 30 retail partners in North America and Europe. The company also recently entered the metaverse, debuting an interactive digital world hosted on the global virtual gaming platform Roblox.

As of April 30, 2022, there were 1,574 company-operated Claire’s stores in North America, 871 company-operated Claire’s stores in Europe and 289 franchised Claire’s stores primarily located in the Middle East and South Africa.
