Chicken Salad Chick continues its national expansion.
The fast-growing, chicken salad restaurant chain has signed a five-unit franchise agreement for New Mexico. The deal marks Chicken Salad Chick’s entrance into the state and the furthest west that it has developed thus far. Earlier this year, the company signed an agreement for five locations across Northern Colorado, marking its entry into the state.
Chicken Salad Chick is on track to open more than 50 locations in 2022. It has set a goal to have 500 locations open and operating by the end of 2025. It currently has more than 200 locations across 17 states.
The New Mexico agreement covers territories across Albuquerque and Santa Fe, targeting the neighborhoods of Far Northeast Heights, Winrock and Rio Rancho. The first of the five locations are planned to open by the end of 2022, with the other four to follow during the next three and a half years.
