Casey’s has completed its acquisition of 40 Pilot stores.
Casey’s General Stores has expanded its retail portfolio in Tennessee through an acquisition.
The convenience store chain has completed its acquisition of 40 stores from Pilot Corporation. The acquisition gives Casey’s immediate scale in the Knoxville, Tennessee market.
The acquisition is also part Casey’s its three-year strategic plan, announced in January 2020, to add 345 stores. In May, the company expanded its Midwest footprint with the completion of its deal to acquire 94 Bucky’s convenience stores from Buchanan Energy.

Casey’s is the third-largest convenience store retailer in the United States. with more than 2,400 locations in 16 states. As of the end of the second quarter on Oct. 31, the Iowa-based Casey's operated 2,380 convenience stores.
