  • Consolo and Aquino Bring Intimacy to Flatiron

    New York — INTIMACY (bra fit stylists) has opened a lingerie shop at 104 Fifth Avenue in the New York City’s Flatiron retail district. Faith Hope Consolo Chairman, and Joseph A. Aquino, executive VP of Douglas Elliman’s Retail Group, represented the landlord in the transaction. Stacey Robins Realty represented INTIMACY.

    Other national and international brands with stores in the area include Aldo, Anthropologie, Banana Republic, Coach, J.Crew, Kenneth Cole and 7 for all mankind.

     

  • Kraft Foods expands footprint in Champaign, Ill.

    Kraft Foods Group has selected Becknell Industrial to develop and build a new warehouse to support its existing facility in Champaign, Ill. The 730,000-sq.-ft. warehouse will be located on a 35-acre parcel adjacent to its manufacturing site, which is Kraft's largest production facility in North America.

  • JLL: Metro Seattle job market drives mixed-use sale

    Seattle — Jones Lang LaSalle’s Capital Markets group has announced the sale of Slater 116, a mixed-use property in Kirkland, a Seattle suburb. The property features 108 apartments and more than 10,000 sq. ft. of ground floor retail space. Essex Property Trust bought the recently completed property from Mainstreet Property Group for $29.6 million.

  • Sawgrass Mills signs 30 new retailers this year

    Sunrise, Fla. — So far this year, 30 new retailers have signed into Sawgrass Mills in Sunrise, Fla.

    The Colonnade Outlets at Sawgrass Mills, the open-air promenade part of the property recently added a number of new-to-South Florida retailers, including Diane von Furstenberg, Gucci, Versace, Robert Graham, Ippolita, Wolford, Jimmy Choo, Frette, Roberto Cavalli and others.

  • RadioShack brings concept store to Boston

    Fort Worth, Texas – RadioShack has opened its first new concept store in the Boston area. The store is located in the Porter Square neighborhood of Cambridge, Mass.

  • Dick’s Sporting Goods sets openings of two new locations

    Pittsburgh -- Dick's Sporting Goods announced the openings of two new stores, one in Kentucky, and its first ever in the state of Wyoming.

    The retailer said it will open a store in Casper, Wy., on Oct. 25 at the Eastridge Mall. Also on Oct. 25, Dick’s will open at Gary Farms, Bowling Green, Ky.

    The Bowling Green location will be the retailer's ninth store in the state of Kentucky and its 544th nationwide. 
     

  • Fifth Manhattan Westside Market to open in East Village

    New York — Representing the landlord, RKF has arranged an 18,817-sq.-ft. lease with family-owned grocer Westside Market at 84 Third Avenue in Manhattan’s East Village. When the new grocery opens next summer, it will become the fifth Westside Market location in Manhattan.

    The new Westside Market will span 10,500 sq. ft. on the ground level, with the remaining space in the lower level. Newmark Grubb Knight Frank Retail represented the Westside Market in the transaction.

  • Changing of the guard at Hibbett Sports

    Hibbett Sports has put its succession plan into motion. Effective Feb. 2, 2014, Mickey Newsome will go from executive chairman of the board and CEO to non-executive chairman. Additionally, president and CEO Jeff Rosenthal has been appointed to the board, bringing the total number of members 10.
