  • Wine Lab opens second location at The Camp

    Costa Mesa, Calif. -- ChrisAnn and Roger Richards announced the opening of their second wine and cheese bar and shop, Wine Lab at The Camp, located in the restaurant and shopping destination at 2937 Bristol Street in Costa Mesa, Calif.

    The 1,270 sq.-ft. bar, designed with a mid-century flair, augments the debut location in Newport, Calif., and features wines and beer on tap as well as a retail shop.
     

  • Eidco awarded Westgate Mall project

    Chicago -- Eidco Construction announced that the firm has won a 65,000-sq.-ft. renovation project at the Westgate Mall in Brainerd and Baxter, Minn.

    Currently in progress, the project was designed by Chipman Design Architecture, in collaboration with Ringdahl Architects, and involves a number of interior tenant improvements, along with exterior façade work and the construction of a building addition.

  • Office Depot to open 13 remodeled stores in Houston market

    Boca Raton, Fla. -- Office Depot Inc. will open 13 newly remodeled locations in the Houston area on March 28.

    The updates stores feature more colorful signage and easy-to-navigate floor plans. The stores were redesigned based on customer feedback and shopping patterns.

    Office Depot operates 1,677 stores in 60 countries, 46 of which are located in the Houston area.

  • PREIT selects Joseph Coradino as next CEO

    Philadelphia -- The trustees of Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust (“PREIT”) announced that Joseph F. Coradino will become CEO of the company as of the company’s annual meeting on June 7, succeeding Ronald Rubin, who will serve as executive chairman.

    Coradino has been with PREIT and a predecessor company for three decades, serving since 2004 as president of PREIT Services, LLC and PREIT-Rubin, Inc., and as a member of the office of the chairman. He has been a trustee of PREIT since 2006.

  • Tommy Bahama to make Manhattan debut

    New York -- Tommy Bahama will open its first New York City location in October.

    Dubbed the Tommy Bahama “Manhattan Island,” the 8,500-sq.-ft. store will also include a bar and restaurant. It will be located in an Art Deco building on Fifth Avenue at 45th Street.

  • The Sporting Club opens at Voorhees Town Center

    Voorhees, N.J. -- Philadelphia-based Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust announced that The Sporting Club fitness center has opened a 13,000-sq.-ft. satellite location at Voorhees Town Center, located in Voorhees, N.J.

    Located on the Boulevard, Sporting Club joins Firecreek Restaurant + Bar, Doghouse Gourmet Burgers, Coffee Works Café, Rizzieri Studio Salon, Rizzieri Aveda School for Beauty & Wellness, Rizzieri School for the Healing Arts, and It’s A Doggie Dog World, which just opened in early March.

  • Saks reopens Off 5th store in Nashville

    NEW YORK — Closed by floods in May 2010, the Saks Fifth Avenue Off 5th at Opry Mills in Nashville, Tenn., will reopen on March 29.

    Located next to the Grand Ole Opry House, the approximate 27,500-sq.-ft. store will be located in the Opry Mills Shopping Center. Operated by Simon Malls, upon completion, the center will be the largest shopping outlet in Tennessee, with over 200 stores, multiple restaurants and an in-house movie theater.

  • 7-Eleven plans major expansion in Jacksonville, Fla.

    New York -- 7-Eleven Inc. plans to open 15 to 20 stores this year in the Jacksonville, Fla., market and 80 locations by 2015, according to the Florida Times-Union.
