  • Bruxie among new tenants at Shoppes at Chino Hills

    Chino Hills, Calif. -- The Shoppes at Chino Hills is bringing Bruxie Gourmet Waffle Sandwiches, joining recent tenants Crème de la Crème Bakery, Icy-Licious shaved ice, Sleep Number bed shop, and What Lola Wants women’s apparel at the Chino Hills, Calif., shopping center.

    The 375,000-sq.-ft. community/lifestyle center also features a newly expanded A&M Home Décor.

  • Apple opens at Willow Grove Park

    Philadelphia -- Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust (PREIT) said that Apple has opened a new store at its Willow Grove Park property in suburban Philadelphia.

    The 8,300-sq.-ft. store opened on Nov. 17, bring the total number of Apple stores in PREIT’s portfolio to four.

    “The addition of Apple to this already dominant mall will further drive traffic and sales and allow us to enhance the merchandise mix and quality of the shopping experience at Willow Grove Park,” said Joseph F. Coradino, CEO, PREIT.

    New York -- Victoria’s Secret has reopened its New York flagship with a re-design that embodies the brand's sexy, sophisticated and glamorous spirit with a nod to its heritage.

  • Tommy Bahama, New York City

    Tommy Bahama has dropped anchor in Manhattan, opening a 13,000-sq.-ft. flagship on Fifth Avenue. It’s the island-inspired brand’s first store in the Big Apple, and also its biggest location to date, with 5,000 sq. ft. of retail, along with a 1,300-sq.-ft. bar on the first floor, and 6,700-sq.-ft. restaurant on the second floor.

  • One Nineteen to be re-branded Town Center Crossing

    Leawood, Kan. -- Glimcher Realty Trust announced that it will rename One Nineteen as Town Center Crossing. Glimcher and the owners of One Nineteen and Town Center Plaza will rebrand both centers with new logos, new signage and a shared property directory.

    “Our hope by rebranding the properties is to create the Town Center district, marking one of the best retail areas outside of Kansas City,” said Marshall Loeb, president and COO, Glimcher Realty Trust.

  • Stirling to develop Walgreens in Gulfport, Miss.

    Covington, La. -- Stirling Properties has announced it will develop a new full-service Walgreens drugstore in Gulfport, Miss.  

    The proposed Walgreens will be located on a former Gulfmart Shopping Center site. Stirling Properties is providing development services, including lease negotiation, financing, and project management, to a third party owner of the property.

  • Urban Partners/Harbor Urban names new VP

    Los Angeles -- Urban Partners and Harbor Urban announced that David Walker has joined the company as VP capital markets.

    Walker will be responsible for actively procuring debt and equity capital for both entities. The firm is currently focused on urban infill assets in West Coast markets and, together with AREA Property Partners, recently acquired Seattle-based Harbor Properties and merged it with Urban Partner’s local office to form Harbor Urban.

  • Five Below to open at South Towne Center

    Dayton, Ohio -- Brixmor Property Group said that Five Below will open a 8,095-sq.-ft. store at South Towne Center, located in Dayton, Ohio.

    Brixmor, based in New York City, is the owner of South Towne Center.
