  • Four new tenants to open at Deptford Landing

    Deptford, N.J. -- Dallas-based SRS Real Estate Partners said that four new leases have been executed for space at Deptford Landing, located in Deptford, N.J.

    DSW Shoe Warehouse has leased 20,014 sq. ft.; Panera Bread has leased 4,900 sq. ft.; Chipotle has leased 2,141 sq. ft.; and Hand and Stone Massage & Facial Spa leased 2,400 sq. ft.
     

  • Big Lots opens anchor store in Stone Mountain, Ga.

    Tarrytown, N.Y. -- DLC Management Corp., which owns Stone Mountain Square in Stone Mountain, Ga., said Friday that Big Lots has opened a 26,355-sq.-ft. store at the shopping center.

    Big Lots co-anchors the center with Ross Dress for Less, T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, Dot’s and Anna’s Linens.
     

  • Simon opens Merrimack Premium Outlets

    Merrimack, N.H. -- Indianapolis-based Simon Property Group said Thursday that it has opened Merrimack Premium Outlets, an upscale outlet shopping center serving the Greater Boston and Nashua markets.

  • Men's Wearhouse lowers forecast as Q1 profit disappoints; on track to close nearly 50 stores

    Houston -- The Men’s Wearhouse reported Wednesday that net income for the first quarter dipped 2% to $26.9 million, dragged down by negative same-store sales at its K&G off-price unit. Its results missed expectations.

    Revenue rose 1% to $586.6 million, missing Wall Street’s forecasted $593.7 million in revenue.

  • Christopher & Banks loss widens in Q1

    Minneapolis -- Christopher & Banks Corp. reported Tuesday a loss of $13.4 million, compared with a loss of $8.2 million in the year-ago period.

    Net sales dropped to $93.6 million, from $110.4 million in the comparable period last year. Same-store sales decreased 15%.

    “Our financial results reflect continued customer resistance to the residual merchandise assortment that consisted of styles that were too updated and priced too high while lacking in key categories,” said Joel Waller, president and CEO.

  • Major renovation completed at Naples Towne Centre

    Naples, Fla. -- Tampa, Fla.-based RMC Property Group said that Naples Towne Centre property, located in Naples, Fla., has just completed a major renovation project, which included a complete restoration of the façade, and a makeover of the landscaping, parking lot and exterior lighting. The owner, Buckingham Properties, utilized the design services of local architect, Don Stevenson Design.

  • RKF Chicago office adds two new directors

    Chicago -- RKF announced that Steve Schwartz and Lara Keene have joined the firm’s Chicago office as directors.

    Schwartz and Keene, formerly of Baum Realty Group, mark the latest additions to the RKF Chicago office, which opened this past April as part of the firm’s ongoing expansion into key urban markets nationwide.
     
     

  • The Organic Bedroom to open at Sutton Square

    Raleigh, N.C. -- Jacksonville, Fla.-based Regency Centers said that The Organic Bedroom will open a 1,300-sq.-ft. store at Sutton Square, in Raleigh, N.C.

    Specializing in mattresses made of organic and natural materials, the store is slated to open for business in June 2012.

    The 101,025-sq.-ft. shopping center is anchored by a 24,167-sq.-ft. Fresh Market alongside national retailers such as Pet Supermarket, Rite Aid and Performance Bicycle.
