  • Epiphany Boutique to join West 7th development

    Fort Worth, Texas — Epiphany Boutique will open a 1,463-sq.-ft. store at West 7th, a mixed-use development at the intersection of West Seventh Street and University Drive in Fort Worth, according to Cypress Equities, the developers of West 7th.

    The store is slated to open in early October. Centennial Retail Services represented the landlord. Epiphany Boutique represented itself.

     

  • Just Salad leases space in Hudson Square

    New York — Just Salad has leased a 1,434 sq. ft. ground floor space at 325 Hudson Street, a 10-store, 240,000-sq.-ft. building in the heart of New York City’s Hudson Square.

    New Street Realty Advisors represented Just Salad in lease negotiations with landlord Jamestown Properties.

     

  • Ashley Furniture signs into Seacourt Pavilion

    Toms River, N.J. — Ashley Furniture has leased 34,097 sq. ft. at Seacourt Pavilion in Toms River, N.J. The new store is slated to open in April 2014. Metro Commercial Real Estate represented the owner, SP Acquisition Associations.

    Ashley Furniture is the top selling furniture store brand in the world and the top retailer of furniture and bedding in the U.S. The company’s stores operate throughout the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Central America and Japan.

  • SRS opens Birmingham, Ala., office, adds VP

    Dallas — SRS Real Estate Partners www.srsre.com has opened the doors to a new office in Birmingham, Ala. The company has also brought in Martin Smith to serve as senior VP and co-market leader alongside Josh Burmeister.

    A 13-year veteran of the commercial real estate industry, Smith specializes in landlord representation, tenant representation and investment sales. Prior to joining SRS, he spent seven years with Retail Specialists, where he was director of brokerage and project leasing.
     

  • DDR announces completion of third quarter transactions

    Beachwood, Ohio — DDR Corp. has announced the closing of its previously announce acquisition activity totaling $591 million. The acquisitions include a portfolio of seven prime power centers in a newly-formed joint venture with an affiliate of Blackstone Real Estate Partners VII L.P. for $332 million in August and two market dominant regional power centers in Orlando, Fla. and Atlanta, Ga., for an aggregate $259 million in July.

    Live now, the website highlights the center’s sales per sq. ft. for current retail and dining operations, two live entertainment venues and 3,700 hotel rooms with 98% occupancy at the connected Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino and Hilton Grand Vacations Elara.
