  • Legend Retail Group adds Legend Investment Group

    Denver -– Legend Retail Group a provider of representation of retail tenants and landlords throughout the Denver metro area, has added a component to the firm’s list of client services: Legend Investment Group.    
  • Macy’s and Bloomingdale's stores to open in Abu Dhabi in 2018

    Cincinnati -- Macy’s and Bloomingdale’s stores plan to open in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates (UAE) in 2018 as part of a strategic partnership with Al Tayer Group LLC, a UAE-based company with diversified businesses. This will be Macy’s first international store location and the second for Bloomingdale’s.   
  • Rally House opens at Old Town Center in Dallas

    Dallas -– Specialty sports retailer Rally House has signed a 10-year lease for a 6,200-sq.-ft. store location at Old Town Shopping Center in Dallas. Westwood Financial Corp. (WFC), a privately held owner-operators of U.S. retail properties, operates the center.  
  • Tile Shop Q3 net income drops, COO to become CEO

    Minneapolis –- An increase in selling, general & administrative (SG&A) expenses helped reduce net income at Tile Shop Holdings Inc. to $1.5 million, down 63% from $4.05 million in the same quarter the prior fiscal year. In addition, founder and CEO Robert Rucker will retire as CEO effective Jan. 1, 2015 and be replaced by current COO Chris Homeister, who will join the board of directors early in 2015.  
  • Report: H&M opens at Dayton Mall Oct. 30

    New York – Fast-fashion retailer H&M is reportedly opening a new 21,000-sq.-ft. store at the Dayton Mall in Dayton, Ohio on Thursday, Oct. 30. According to the Dayton Business Journal, H&M has hired 30 employees to staff the location.  
  • Lowe’s to enter Manhattan with smaller-store format

    Mooresville, N.C. -- Lowe's announced that it will enter its first two stores in Manhattan. The home improvement giant has two locations slated to open in the second half of 2015, one at 2008 Broadway at West 68th Street, and a second at 635 6th Avenue at West 19th Street.  
  • Woolrich John Rich & Bros. continues global store expansion with Tokyo flagship

    New York -- Woolrich John Rich & Bros. announced the opening of its first Tokyo flagship, in the fashionable Omotesando neighborhood. Following the opening of the brand’s first U.S. flagship this September, Woolrich John Rich & Bros. continues its global expansion plan with the new addition in Japan.  
  • Expansion at Sawgrass Mills to bring an additional 30 stores and restaurants

    Sunrise, Fla. - The Sawgrass Mills outlet and value retail shopping center has begun construction on the next expansion of its open-air luxury promenade, The Colonnade Outlets at Sawgrass Mills. The planned project will include an additional 80,000 sq. ft. to comprise 30 additional luxury outlet stores and full-service restaurants, which will join a roster of existing brands like Prada, Gucci, Tory Burch, Burberry and more.
