  • Stirling to develop Walgreens drug store in Metairie, La.

    Covington, La. — Stirling Properties has announced the development of a new full-service Walgreens drug store in Metairie, La., in the Barlon Plaza Shopping Center. The new store will be a ground-up relocation of an existing Walgreens currently within the center.

    At 14,000 sq. ft., the larger store will feature a drive thru window and full-service pharmacy.

  • Le Coq Rico restaurant enters U.S. market in Manhattan

    Montmartre, France — Le Coq Rico, a popular Montmartre, France, restaurant has signed into its first location in the United States on 20th Street between Park Avenue South and Broadway in Manhattan’s Flatiron District. The space includes 3,000 sq. ft. on the ground floor and 1,800 sq. ft. on the lower level.

    Winick realty Group represented landlord Walter Samuels in the long-term lease transaction. Newmark Grubb Knight Frank represented the restaurant.

  • Cullinan names senior real estate representative

    Peoria, Ill. — Cullinan Properties has named Patty Kueneke senior real estate representative. She will lease and sell existing and newly developed properties including the Streets of St. Charles in the St. Louis metro area and the Shoppes at River Hill in Topeka, Kan.

  • Nordstrom Rack to open in Bakersfield, Calif.

    Seattle -- Nordstrom announced plans to open at a Nordstrom Rack at The Shops at River Walk in Bakersfield, Calif. The approximately 35,000-sq-ft. store is scheduled to open in spring 2015.

    The new Nordstrom Rack will be the company's first location in Bakersfield.

  • RMC will lease Sanibel Beach Place in Fort Myers, Fla.

    Fort Myers, Fla. — Sanibel Beach Place, a 72,886-sq.-ft. Publix-anchored shopping center in Fort Myers, Fla., has selected RMC Property Group as the property’s exclusive leasing agent.

    Global Realty and Management owns the property.

  • Fashion house 'Len' renews at Minneapolis City Center

    Minneapolis — Twin Cities’ fashion retailer “Len” has renewed its lease at Minneapolis City Center with a seven-year commitment. The existing 7,196-sq.-ft. store is the retailer’s only downtown location following the consolidation of several brands and stores over the last six months. The chain operates five more locations in Minnesota and one in Illinois.

    Minneapolis City Center is the two-story retail portion of a 1.6 million mixed-use property owned by Shorenstein Properties LLC.

  • Burger 21 expands to Phoenix

    Tampa, Fla. — Burger 21 has announced plans to expand in the Phoenix, market with franchise developments. The fast-casual restaurant is currently developing two Arizona locations in Scottsdale and Chandler. Both will open later this year. To date, Burger 21 has 12 open locations and 18 franchised restaurants in development across the country.
