  • The Shoppes at Webb Gin welcomes new retailers

    Snellville, Ga. -- Olshan Properties announced two new retail tenants have signed leases at The Shoppes at Webb Gin in Snellville, Georgia. Orangetheory Fitness opened earlier this month and Fuzzy’s Taco Shop announced plans to open in early fall at the center.

  • Supermarkets for sale in western U.S.

    The bankrupt Haggen supermarket chain has listed 111 locations for sale, many in California, as the company looks to refocus its operations on 37 stores in the Pacific Northwest.

  • The Taylor McMinn team of Marcus & Millichap sells $4.2 million

    Dallas, Ga. -- Marcus & Millichap announced the sale of a 17,930-sq. ft. CVS Strip Center in Dallas, Georgia, for $4.2 million. The property is 70% anchored by CVS Health with a 15-year corporate-guaranteed double-net lease.

  • Chambers Group announces new partner to lead second location

    Charlotte, N.C. -- The Chambers Group, an X Team International partner and full-service real estate brokerage firm announced that Jenn Olevitch-Roberson has joined the company as partner to lead the company’s second location in Raleigh, North Carolina. The office will open Oct. 1, and, over the course of the next 12 months, The Chambers Group will add approximately six new and seasoned brokers to their team in Raleigh.

  • Ross Stores continues aggressive store growth

    Ross Stores Inc. is continuing an aggressive growth strategy for both its Ross Dress for Less and DD’s Discount banners. The new store openings are part of the retailer’s 2015 expansion program, totaling approximately 90 new locations during the year.

    Ross Dress for Less will open four new stores on Oct. 10. These include two new stores in the Chicago area: a 25,000-sq.-ft. store in Palatine located in the Deer Grove Centre, and a 24,000-sq.-ft. Joliet store is located in Joliet Commons.

  • Roosevelt Galleria in Chicago acquired for $19.6 million

    Chicago -- Mid-America Real Estate Corporation’s Investment Sales team brokered the sale of Roosevelt Galleria in Chicago. Rye, New York-based Acadia Realty Trust purchased the urban retail property for $19.6 million.

    Roosevelt Galleria is located in the Roosevelt Road retail corridor in the South Loop. The 40,306 sq. ft. center has a diverse mix of tenants, which include: Golfsmith, Petco, Sleepy’s, United Healthcare and The Vitamin Shoppe.

  • New mixed-use project in Austin to offer first large-scale public market

    Austin, Texas -- GroundFloor Development and Prescott Group announced plans for Saint Elmo, a $120 million mixed-use project in Austin, Texas. Saint Elmo will include 225,000 sq. ft. of creative office space and feature a 40,000-sq.-ft. indoor-outdoor marketplace, seated alongside the new location for Austin’s Saxon Pub.

  • Cypress Equities welcomes new director

    Dallas -- Cypress Equities Cos. announced that it has hired Lance Taylor, director of asset management.

    Taylor brings 25 years of experience in commercial real estate with varied responsibilities that include underwriting, acquisition, asset management, leasing, land development, receivership and dispositions. Lance’s background includes Archon Group, Deutsche Asset & Wealth Management, Jones Lang LaSalle America’s, Inc. and Stream Realty Partners, L.P.
