  • Golfsmith tees up in Myrtle Beach

    MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Golfsmith International is teeing up for the opening of its first Xtreme golf store in Myrtle Beach, S.C. The 35,000-sq.-ft. space has been designed to encourage customers to try out products in an interactive hi-tech environment before they buy.

  • KTGY designs $43 million apartment/retail community

    Irvine, Calif. -- KTGY Group announced that Hutton Cos. has launched construction on La Verne Village, a 172-unit mixed-use residential and retail community in La Verne, Calif., located in the San Gabriel Valley, east of Los Angeles.

    Situated on the site of a former automobile dealership on 7.69 acres, the La Verne Village luxury apartment homes are integrated within the village-center court, complete with more than 15,000 sq. ft. of integrated retail shopping and dining.

  • Costco reaps solid Q3

    ISSAQUAH, Wash. — A $62 million tax benefit in the second quarter, alongside a portion of a special cash dividend Costco received in December 2012, helped bolster the company's net income for the first 36 weeks of fiscal 2013, ended May 12. 

  • Crossroads to lease, manage Veterans Square

    Lyndhurst, N.J. -- Crossroads Cos. has been named leasing agent and property manager for Veterans Square Shopping Center, located on New York Avenue in Lyndhurst, N.J.

    The 144,400-sq.-ft. neighborhood shopping center’s tenant roster includes a free-standing ShopRite, Home Goods and a mix of national, regional and neighborhood businesses.

  • SRS Real Estate hires senior associate

    Dallas -- SRS Real Estate Partners said that Townsand Cropsey has joined the firm as senior associate in the Newport Beach office.

    Cropsey will focus on tenant representation and investment services.



    The company also announced that Katie Carlisle has been named an associate in the Austin office. Carlisle is actively involved in project leasing and tenant representation with a focus on development. She comes to SRS from The Retail Connection.

    SEATTLE — Amazon has launched Login with Amazon, a new service that will enable the more than 200 million active Amazon customers to securely log in to apps, games and websites once without having to remember multiple passwords.

    Login with Amazon allows developers to easily reduce sign-in friction for their customers, leading to higher engagement and order conversion.

  • Supply chain provider acquires packaging co.

    ATLANTA — Coregistics, a packaging supply chain services company, has acquired Cano Packaging, a Chicago-area company that specializes in primary contract packaging services for food and confectionary manufacturers.
