LLamasoft, a leading global supply chain design software provider, has added Jeff Metersky to the company’s leadership team as VP of solutions strategy.

Metersky will have global responsibility for designing comprehensive supply chain design solutions made up of technology, services, support, education and training for future and existing LLamasoft customers. He will also help shape and guide LLamasoft product strategy.

RF Biocidics, a leading food safety company that provides an environmentally friendly and chemical-free alternative for disinfection and disinfestation, has appointed Erik Smitt as its VP of operations.

Pedigree and the Broadway musical "Annie" worked together to promote awareness of dog adoption, and the partnership resulted in a $1 million donation to Pedigree Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to helping dogs find loving homes. A check was presented to the foundation after the matinee performance on Nov. 20.

Since its debut in 1977, "Annie" has featured a real-life shelter dog as Annie's companion Sandy, making the partnership between Pedigree brand and the Tony Award-winning musical even more special.

Stater Bros. has promoted CFO David Harris to EVP finance.

Harris began working for the chain in 2009 as VP finance and was promoted to SVP finance in 2011. A year later, he was promoted to CFO and principal accounting officer. Before working for Stater Bros., he was a partner with Ernst & Young in Riverside and Irvine, both cities near San Bernardino, Calif., where Stater Bros. is headquartered.

Antonio Urcelay has replaced Gerald Storch as chairman of Toys “R” Us and the retailer also named Richard Markee to its board.

Framingham, Mass. -- TJX Cos. is launching its first-ever holiday gift hotline for its TJ Maxx and Marshall stores.

The hotline will be available to shoppers from Tuesday, Dec. 3 through Friday, Dec. 6, and will be staffed by nationally renowned style and gifting experts.

The hotline will be staffed from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

East Rutherford, N.J. -- Victoria’s Secret, in partnership with travel retailer Hudson Group, has opened a new beauty & accessories store in Los Angeles International Airport's Tom Bradley International Terminal (TBIT).
The store has a sophisticated storefront, while the interior features upscale elements like black-cherry fixtures and eye-catching focal walls. The interior includes a gallery of iconic black and white images and a video wall that broadcasts footage of the Victoria's Secret Angels.
