    CHICAGO — SymphonyIRI Group Inc., a provider of innovative solutions and services for consumer, retail and healthcare companies, has named Beverly Grant as president of retail solutions. She will report to Mark Parise, president of IRI, SymphonyIRI.

  • Crain's: Klaff Realty eyeing Supervalu's Jewel-Osco business

    Chicago — Suitors are lining up to carve out divisions of Supervalu following the company's announcement last month that strategic divestitures were on the table as the Eden Prairie, Minn.-based grocer seeks to turn around its business performance. A Crain's report published Monday identified Klaff Realty as one of the first companies to express an interest, in this case the Jewel-Osco piece of the business.

  • Bennigan’s and Brixmor Property Group in partnership to add 30 locations

    Dallas -- Bennigan's Franchising Co. and Brixmor Property Group announced a strategic partnership to add Bennigan's restaurants nationwide into Brixmor's portfolio of shopping centers.

    The partnership will include positioning Bennigan's signs at select existing buildings and pad site locations within the Brixmor portfolio of shopping centers, promoting pre-approved restaurant space and franchise opportunities within the company's targeted growth markets.

  • Unilever completes sale of North America frozen meals business

    LONDON & ROTTERDAM, Netherlands — Unilever has completed the sale of its North America frozen meals business, conducted under the Bertolli and P.F. Chang’s brand names, to ConAgra Foods Inc., for total cash consideration of $267 million, subject to adjustment.

  • Stage Stores signs long-term contract extension with Alliance Data

    Houston -- Stage Stores and Alliance Data Systems announced that they have signed a long-term amended and restated private-label credit card renewal agreement for private-label credit card services.
     
    Under the terms of the agreement, Alliance Data’s Retail Services business will continue to provide a full suite of private-label credit card services geared toward driving sales and brand loyalty to grow Stage Stores’ customer base.
