  • Kellogg earns diversity accolades

    BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Kellogg Company has once again been named one of the "40 Best Companies for Diversity" in 2012 by Black Enterprise magazine. The recognition reflects the company's ongoing commitment to diversity and inclusion and marks the sixth time Kellogg has been named to the list.

  • Caribou Coffee names senior operations exec

    Minneapolis – Caribou Coffee Co. said Monday that Leigh Anne Snider is joining the company as its senior VP retail operations, effective immediately.

    Snider is charged – together with CEO Mike Tattersfield – driving the coffee company’s overall domestic day-to-day operating activities, including building consistent customer service procedures, driving revenue and effectively managing financials.

  • LeapFrog CFO resigns

    EMERYVILLE, Calif. — Educational toy manufacturer LeapFrog Enterprises announced that chief financial officer Mark Etnyre has resigned from the company in order to spend more time with his family and pursue personal interests. The resignation will be effective as of Oct. 1.

  • AZO names HR head

    MEMPHIS, Tenn. — With a store based approaching 5,000 units, AutoZone on Monday elevated its human resources efforts.

    AutoZone named Michael Womack SVP of human resources and customer satisfaction and the newest member of its executive committee, reporting to company chairman, president and CEO Bill Rhodes.

    DALLAS — Steven Becker and Richard Willis are the newest members of the Tuesday Morning board of directors with two more directors expected to be named in the coming months.

  • Generous donation supports Goodwill effort

    Goodwill Industries of Arkansas received a $350,000 grant this week thanks to the Walmart Foundation and the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship presented by P&G.

    Goodwill is the primary charitable beneficiary of this year’s Walmart NW Arkansas Championship presented by P&G, which got underway this week amid triple digit temperatures at the Pinnacle Country Club in Rogers, Ark. The funds the organization received will be used to support a program called Providing Opportunities for Women through Education and Resources (POWER).

  • Heineken names digital manager for global brand

    WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. — Heineken USA has promoted Paul Smailes to the position of digital manager Heineken Global. In his new role, Smailes will report to Cyril Charzat, global Heineken brand director, and will be responsible for developing Heineken's digital strategy and enhancing the brand's global competitive market advantage.
