Brides, bridesmaids, grooms and groomsmen will soon be able to shop for their wedding attire under the same roof.

David’s Bridal is collaborating with digitally native men’s formal wear brand The Black Tux to create a one-stop-shopping experience for customers.  Under the terms of the partnership, The Black Tux will open in-store shops in David Bridal’s locations nationwide. The shops will be designed to showcase The Black Tux product offerings that complement the color assortment available at David’s Bridal. The brand will also have a presence on the retailer’s website.

David’s Bridal said the partnership opens doors for it to expand on its digital competencies and positions the brand as a fully comprehensive wedding and special occasion resource for their customers.

"Teaming up with The Black Tux is game-changer,” said Jim Marcum, CEO, David's Bridal. “Their elevated digital customer experience fits our omnichannel strategy perfectly. Not to mention the unrivaled quality of their products and thirst for innovation runs parallel with our foundational values in service.”

Founded online in 2013, The Black Tux offers stylish men’s formal wear and accessories, for rent or purchase, online. The company also operates showroom across the country, including shops in more than 20 Nordstrom stores.

"Partnering with David's Bridal expedites our growth plans as we scale to become the largest suit and tuxedo brand in the United States," said Andrew Blackmon, co-founder of The Black Tux. "They are the largest, most influential bridal retailer out there, and a true wedding industry icon. Our product offerings blend seamlessly with the array of options available at David's Bridal, providing every customer a fully integrated and interactive shopping experience."

The Black Tux will be integrated into David's latest launches, including its "All-In-One Alterations" program whereby The Black Tux customers can have their measurements taken at David's Bridal locations nationwide and receive tailoring services offered by the chain’s alterations professionals.
