BJ's Wholesale Club
BJ's currently operates 263 clubs and 199 BJ’s Gas locations in 21 states.

BJ’s Wholesale Club Holdings Inc. reported its 16th consecutive quarter of traffic growth as it continues to expand its footprint in new and existing markets.

The membership warehouse club opened 14 new locations in 2025. Executives on the earnings call said the company remains on track to deliver its commitment of 25 to 30 new clubs over 2025 and 2026, and that it expects this pace of openings to continue over the coming years. This year’s openings include the debut in April of BJ’s first location in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

“We are so proud of our 2025 class of club openings, which saw us open clubs in eight different states,” CEO and chairman Bob Eddy said on the company’s earnings call. “These clubs as a whole are delivering sales, membership, and profit that are well above expectations, and we are very excited for our continued accelerated club growth.

Fourth Quarter

Net income increased to $125.9 million, or $0.96 per share, for the quarter ended Jan.31, compared $122.66 million, or $0.92 per share, in the year-ago period. Adjusted earnings were $125. 85 million or $0.96 per share.

Revenue rose 5.6% to $5.58 billion, topping Street estimates of $5.55 billion. Total comparable club sales increased 1.6%. Excluding the impact of gasoline sales, comparable sales increased 2.6%.

Membership fee income increased 10.9% to $129.8 million. The increase was primarily driven by strength in membership acquisition, retention, and higher tier membership penetration across both new and existing clubs, as well as the increase in annual membership fees, which became effective in January 2025.

For the full year, BJ’s total revenue was $21.45 billion, compared to $20.50 billion in the prior year. Total comparable sales rose 1%; excluding the impact of gasoline sales, comps rose 2.6%. Net income increased to $578.4 million compared to $534.4 million in fiscal 2024.

“As we reflect on the year, our results demonstrate the strength of our transformation and disciplined execution of our long‑term priorities,” Eddy stated in the earnings release. “Record membership, strong digital engagement, and our 16th consecutive quarter of traffic growth show how effectively our teams are delivering value and convenience to our members. Our focus on enhancing our assortment, investing in value, and expanding our footprint continues to resonate, and I’m proud of the progress we made this year.”

The company currently operates 263 clubs and 199 BJ’s Gas locations in 21 states.
