BJ’s Wholesale Club is getting ready to enter its 20th state as it continues to grow its footprint in the Southeast.
The membership warehouse club retailer will open a store in Madison, Ala., on Friday, Nov. 10. The club is part of Town Madison, a mixed-use development close to Toyota Field.
The new location, which also has an on-site BJ’s Gas, is the company’s 239th club and first-ever in the state of Alabama.
Local shoppers can join the new club with BJ’s limited-time founding member offeravailable through Nov. 9. From Nov. 10-12, BJ’s members will also be eligible to receive a digital coupon for a free fresh or frozen Butterball whole turkey when they spend $150 in the same transaction, in-club or online.
BJ’s is opening in Alabama as it continues to expand in Tennessee, where it will open its third location, in Goodlettsville, early next year.

BJ’s Wholesale Club is an active participant in its local communities. The BJ’s Charitable Foundation supports a range of organizations and programs across 20 states. In Madison, BJ’s is partnering with the Food Bank of North Alabama, donating nutritious, fresh foods to help local families.
