Best Buy kicks off Black Friday early – for everyone

Best Buy is offering early Black Friday discounts.
Black Friday is coming early to Best Buy.

Following a short exclusive preview for loyalty members, Best Buy is offering early Black Friday deals for all shoppers.

The consumer electronics retailer, which officially begins Black Friday promotional activities on Friday, Nov. 17, is making early Black Friday discounts generally available in a “Black Friday Early Access” event starting Monday, Oct. 30 and running through November. This follows an early Black Friday sale only open to members of the My Best Buy Plus and My Best Buy Total loyalty programs held Oct. 27-29.

Deals are being offered across consumer electronics and technology product categories, including laptops, TVs, headphones and small appliances. Discounts are available in-store, on the BestBuy.com e-commerce site, and via the Best Buy mobile app. 

Black Friday deals available Monday, Oct. 30 include: 

  • Save $200 on select KitchenAid stand mixers.
  • Save up to $130 on select Sony headphones.
  • $579.99 for Samsung 75-inch Crystal UHD 4K Smart Tizen TV.
  • Save $550 on Samsung Galaxy Book3 (sale price: $999.99).
  • Save $320 on HP 2-in-1 Chromebook Plus Laptop (sale price: $379).
  • Save $750 on LG 48-inch Class A2 Series OLED 4K TV (sale price: $549.99).
  • Save $90 on Toshiba 43-inch C350 4K Smart TV (sale price: $189.99.)

In addition, October is Member Exclusive Month at Best Buy, with special rewards for loyalty program members. These include $50 promotional certificate for Plus and Total members who spend $500 or more in October to use on future Best Buy purchases between Nov. 28 to Dec. 12. This includes purchases made during the Black Friday Early Access event.

Other Best Buy holiday offerings include:

  • The Best Buy Holiday Gift Center, featuring curated gift lists and access to virtual sales experts.
  • Starting Monday, Nov. 6, Best Buy stores will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. local time Monday through Saturday and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday.
  •  Ftom 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. CT, shoppers can connect with a virtual sales expert from home, on BestBuy.com or through the Best Buy app. The retailer is also extending the hours shoppers can connect directly with a virtual sales expert over video, audio and chat.
  • Best Buy will match a price consumers pay in one of its stores or digitally if it goes lower during the holiday season. 
  • Most gifts purchased at Best Buy between Oct. 27 and Dec. 30 can be returned through Jan. 13.

Best Buy unwraps real-time mobile holiday deals

Best Buy is also offering exclusive holiday discounts, in limited quantities, via its consumer app. The retailer is running a new holiday promotional program called Best Buy Drops. The campaign provides discounts on items such as product releases, limited runs and launches, all in real time.

“Let the holiday fun begin,” Anthony Aleman, senior public relations specialist, Best Buy, said in a corporate blog post. “It’s officially time to start scoring Black Friday prices on all those holiday tech gifts on this year’s shopping list. Starting Monday, Oct. 30, early Black Friday deals will be available to all shoppers. That means shoppers can expect to see deals on all their favorite tech – even before they’ve bought the Thanksgiving turkey.”
