Beyond has expanded its leadership teams across its three banners.
Beyond, Inc. has expanded its senior leadership team with the addition of eight experienced retailers.
The parent company of Bed, Bath & Beyond, Overstock and Zulily named executives across its three banners, with four named to the C-suite. In February, the company named Chandra Holt as CEO of Bed Bath & Beyond and Dave Nielsen as CEO of Overstock.
The new members of Beyond’s leadership team are listed below.
•Guncha Mehta joins as chief digital and information officer from Party City Holdings, where she has served as senior VP, CIO since 2021.
•Stacey Shivel joins as chief merchandising officer, Bed Bath & Beyond, after holding the same title at The Container Store. Prior to that, she was at legacy Bed Bath & Beyond and held merchant leadership roles at JCPenney, Fingerhut/Bluestem Brands and Dollar Tree.
•Angela Minor joins as chief marketing officer, Bed Bath & Beyond, from Conn’s HomePlus, where she served as chief marketing officer. She also held holding leadership positions at Michael’s, Pier 1, Sears and Kmart.
•Deb Bollom has been promoted to chief merchandising officer, Overstock from her previous role as chief merchandising officer for Bed Bath & Beyond. She also has 25-plus years of prior merchandising experience running multi-billion-dollar businesses for Target.
•Steph Whitacre has been appointed to senior VP GM, Zulily from rom her previous role as VP, merchandising. Prior to joining Beyond, she held leadership merchandising positions at Saks Off Fifth, Bloomingdale’s, Burberry, and started her career at Bergdorf Goodman.
•Jennifer Evans has been appointed to senior VP marketing, Beyond, Inc. from her previous role as VP, integrated marketing. Her new role includes overseeing Overstock and Zulily marketing as well as content and brand partnerships for Beyond, Inc.
Evans spent nine years at legacy Bed Bath & Beyond after holding sales and marketing leadership positions at Time Warner and The Walt Disney Company.
•Alexis Callahan joins as VP of investor relations and public relations. She is rejoining Beyond having spearheaded development of the IR program at Overstock in 2020, and since implemented strategic investor relations programs at Tupperware Brands and Esperion Therapeutics.
•Chris Peake joins as director of merchandising, Zulily. He brings almost three years of experience from legacy Zulily where he was most recently merchandise director. Before that, he spent 16 years at Zappos.
