Anthropologie opens its first hotel pop-up
Anthropologie is setting up shop — temporarily — at the Jersey shore.
The apparel and home goods retailer, a division of Urban Outfitters, has opened a pop-up shop in The Reeds At Shelter Haven, a luxury boutique hotel in tony Stone Harbor, New Jersey. The brand’s first hotel pop-up, Anthropologie at The Reeds will open on May 28 and run through Labor Day, Sept. 6.
The shop will feature a curated selection of Anthropologie dresses, swimsuits, cover-ups, jewelry and other accessories, mementos, gifts and beauty products “hand-selected by Anthropologie for those who summer in Stone Harbor and its surrounding beach towns.”
“Our hope at Anthropologie is to evoke the fun of discovery, and travel is an important element of that," said Elizabeth Preis, chief marketing officer for Anthropologie, which operates more than 200 stores around the world. "This summer, as we look to celebrate going out with friends and family, it makes perfect sense to launch our first hotel-based pop-up. We're excited to bring the thrill of discovery to The Reeds and welcome Stone Harbor's summer crowd into our pop-up shop, curated just for them."
