Walmart has once again been caught up in the nation’s gun violence.
A shooting in the parking lot of Walmart’s store in Duncan, Oklahoma, left three people dead, including the suspected gunman. The store is located about 80 miles south of Oklahoma City.
Walmart spokesman Payton McCormick told USA Today that no staff members were involved in the shooting or injured, and the store was not evacuated.
“This was an isolated incident in the parking lot and was not an active shooter situation,” McCormick said.
The shooting occurred just days after the reopening of a Walmart store in El Paso, Texas, that was the scene of a mass shooting on Aug. 3.
