Call it a Prime Day for fashion lovers.
The e-commerce giant, which has postponed its annual Prime Day sales extravaganza, is holding a huge sale on summer fashion items and a wide range of accessories, including sunglasses, shoes and pocketbooks.
Running June 22 through June 28, the sale features deep discounts on items from the company’s own in-house labels, but also price reductions on name brands such as Kate Spade, Rebecca Minkoff, Cole Haan, Tommy Hilfiger, Levi’s and others.
As previously reported, Amazon is said to be delaying its annual Prime Day sales from July to September as it deals with an ongoing surge in online orders resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Amazon has been tight-lipped about its fashion sale. In early June, CNBC reported that the company had sent a notice to sellers informing them that it planned to host a “Fashion Summer Sale Event.”
“We are having the Biggest Summer Sale event to drive excitement and jump-start sales,” the notice stated. “To drive customer engagement, we are asking for your participation.”
