Aldi beats 2024 price with $40 Thanksgiving meal for 10
Aldi is responding to concerns about inflation with its lowest price in years for a discount Thanksgiving meal package.
Throughout the Thanksgiving season, Aldi is offering what it calls a "full spread" of holiday food items, including turkey and ingredients for nine traditional side dishes, for what it says is less than $4 a person, or roughly $40 to serve 10 people.
The holiday spread includes 21 total products and ingredients including a 14-pound turkey, rolls, cranberry sauce, macaroni and cheese, stuffing, mashed potatoes with gravy, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole and pumpkin pie.
“The Aldi commitment to low prices is unwavering and I am thrilled that we are able to offer an even more affordable holiday meal than last year,” said Atty McGrath, CEO, Aldi U.S. “Saving our shoppers money is our mission every day— but is especially important during the holidays when they need it most.”
Items that are part of the meal are purchased individually and marked on shelf. No coupons or memberships are needed to take advantage of the discount.
Customers can purchase discount Thanksgiving products at a local store or by ordering online for curbside pickup or home delivery from partners including Instacart, Uber Eats, and DoorDash. The offer is good through Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2025 (Christmas Eve).

“Thanksgiving is the biggest food holiday of the year, and Aldi is proud to lead the industry once again on price,” said Scott Patton chief commercial officer, Aldi U.S. “Price leadership is part of our DNA, and the holidays are when our commitment to value really shines. We believe families shouldn’t have to make trade-offs to feed everyone, especially at Thanksgiving.”
In 2024, Aldi offered a similar Thanksgiving-themed shopping list of fresh ingredients including a Butterball turkey with spices, gravy, rolls, mac & cheese, stuffing – plus the ingredients for cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole and pumpkin pie at less than $47 to serve 10 people, or less than $4.70 per person., which was at the time its lowerst price for a Thanksgiving meal since 2019.
Discounted Thanksgiving meals are a popular holiday retail trend. In previous years, Walmart, Target and Amazon Fresh have also all offered Thanksgiving spreads at a substantially reduced cost, although Aldi is the first major retailer to announce a 2025 special holiday offer.
