Abercrombie & Fitch, Adidas execs joining Lululemon’s senior leadership team

Lululemon Athletica Inc. is expanding its C-suite.

The athletic apparel company has made a series of executive appointments that include the hiring of executives from Abercrombie & Fitch and Adidas  

Lululemon appointed longtime Adidas executive André Maestrini to serve as executive VP, international and lead the company’s international expansion. Maestrini, who joins Lululemon in January and will report to CEO Calvin McDonald, spent the last 14 years at Adidas.  Most recently, he oversaw a multibillion-dollar business as the senior VP, global general manager, sports business units, running, training, football, basketball & heartbeat sports.

In other appointments, Lululemon named Stacia Jones as VP, global head of inclusion, diversity, equity and action ( IDEA), effective in November.  She spent over a decade at Abercrombie & Fitch, most recently as associate general counsel and the company’s chief diversity & inclusion officer. While at A&F, Jones helped the company increase its diversity in the U.S. by more than 400%. 

In addition, 14-year Lululemon veteran Celeste Burgoyne was promoted to serve at the president level in her role leading the Americas and global guest innovation teams. Burgoyne joined Lululemon in 2006 to lead U.S. expansion and has since held a series of roles of expanded responsibility, most recently as executive VP, Americas and global guest Innovation
