Westwood Financial, an owner-operator of 110 neighborhood shopping centers in the United States, has hired a new director of leasing.

Lauren Ball will take over for David Malayil, who left to start his own firm. Ball spent the last 11 years at Site Centers where, as a VP, she directed leasing operations across a portfolio of 55 properties. Prior to that, she was a leasing representative for DLC Management.

"We are very excited Lauren will be joining us as the new head of leasing. She is a strong leader with a broad network of national retail relationships,” said Westwood CEO Mark Bratt.

Ball is an active member of Atlanta's Buckhead Coalition, an invitation-only community business organization limited to 100 members. When inducted in 2019, she was the youngest female in the group.
