Restoration Hardware expanding

Restoration Hardware is delving further into interior design services.



The luxe home furnishings company is adding interactive design studios, called RH Design Ateliers, across its entire retail fleet this fall, including more than 50 markets throughout the United States and Canada.



In addition, the retailer has launched a fully integrated design platform, called RH Interior Design, designed to help customers create their dream living spaces.



“The evolution of our interior design services positions RH as a leading interior design firm and demonstrates how our brand can deliver value that transcends just creating and selling product, as we move towards conceptualizing and selling spaces,” said Restoration Hardware chairman and CEO Gary Friedman.



The in-store design studios offer integrated workspaces inspired by the world’s best architecture and design studios. Shoppers can work with the RH interior design team or their personal architects and interior designers. They also have access to RH’s library of fabrics, leathers and furniture and lighting finishes.



Also featured will be Ben Soleimani rug showrooms highlighting the fourth-generation designer’s hand-knotted and hand-woven rugs, as well as specialized displays for window treatments, bed and bath linens and bath hardware.
