Report: Sam’s Club joins same-day pickup club
Sam's Club is reportedly allowing customers nationwide to pick up online orders in stores the day they are placed.
According to Winsight Grocery Business, Sam’s Club now offers its Club Pickup buy-online-pickup-in-store (BOPIS) option free to all members. Customers can place orders via the Sam’s Club website or app, and then receive a text or email informing them that their order is ready within four hours.
Orders for same-day pickup cannot exceed 15 items, but include products such as office supplies, grills, and mattresses, as well as grocery items. Jewelry, apparel, mobile phones, and books are not eligible for Club Pickup. Reportedly, the most frequently ordered products for same-day pickup so far are fresh produce and meat.
