Even Amazon has technical difficulties.
The online giant is delaying the public opening of its cashier-less convenience store, Amazon Go, due to technical complications, according to
MarketWatch.
The store, which was expected to open at the end of this month, is reportedly having operational issues when more than 20 people are in the space at one time. Technology also has trouble tracking an item that has been moved from its designated spot on the shelf, the report said.
The 1,800 sq. ft. store, which launched in a beta program in December, is currently open to Amazon employees. It is still expected to “open to the public in early 2017,” according to Amazon’s website.
