PetSmart tames demand planning
PetSmart Inc. is automating and optimizing demand planning and replenishment processes across the enterprise.
The specialty pet retailer will roll out demand planning and replenishment technology from Relex Solutions to plan demand for its more than 1,650 stores, distribution centers, and e-commerce site.
PetSmart intends to achieve end-to-end, integrated planning capabilities that will help improve the accuracy of its demand forecasts, replenishment and allocation. The retailer also seeks to automate and enhance planning efficiency across operational areas.
