New delivery service brings coffee where consumers need it most

9/11/2019
A local coffee chain and a corporate delivery platform are teaming up to caffeinate workers at their desks.

Think Coffee, an independent retailer with 11 locations in New York City that sources and roasts its own coffee, is partnering with coffee and tea delivery service GOffee. Customers whose employers utilize GOffee as a corporate beverage supplier can now order deliveries from Think Coffee directly to their desks. GOffee will be offering Think Coffee espresso blend and cold brews to start and will then expand to the company’s single-origin collection.

“Since our founding in 2006, we have worked hard to make a difference in the world around us, whether through responsible coffee sourcing practices, our relationships with our fellow New Yorkers or by reducing the environmental impact of our cafes,” said Think Coffee Founder, Jason Scherr. “GOffee is the only eco-friendly coffee delivery service making sure that New Yorkers get their morning cup of delicious coffee while also delivering in reusable cups to help spare the environment one drink at a time.”

Food and beverage retailers are becoming increasingly willing to make on-demand deliveries to wherever customers may be located. In June 2019, 7-Eleven launched 7Now Pins, on-demand delivery technology that allows users to order products to locales such parks, beaches, sports fields, and entertainment venues. Eligible items include food, drinks, and groceries.

And since 2018, pizza retailer Domino’s has offered Domino’s Hotspots, dedicated locations where the company will deliver pizza, such as beaches, parks, and stadium lots.
