Augmented reality mobile game Pokémon Go has given a big sales boost to GameStop.
Since the release of the game, GameStop has logged doubled sales in Pokémon-related merchandise, gaming products and handheld consoles, and mobile chargers, according to
Dallas Business Journal. But it’s just the tip of the iceberg for the retailer, which plans to grow its virtual reality business to $3 billion by 2019, the report said.
