Food wholesale co-op opens view of metrics

Associated Wholesale Grocers Inc. (AWG) is ensuring member retailers have insight into store operations.

AWG, a cooperative food wholesaler to independently-owned supermarkets, which serves over 1,000 member companies and over 3,800 locations in 36 states, is helping retailers identify opportunities to improve sales, pricing, and profitability. The company is partnering with Retail Software Solutions Group (RSSG) to make the RSSG DealW!se and PriceW!se solutions available to its members.

The solutions are integrated with AWG and deliver focused, actionable intelligence on critical aspects of store operations. This includes automated insights into metrics such as pricing, margin and consumer behavior. As a result, AWG hopes its members can improve workflow and save time.
