Beverage retailer gets into spirit of online delivery

BevMo! is partnering with online alcohol delivery platform Drizly to satisfy thirsty digital shoppers.

BevMo! Is bringing on-demand alcohol delivery to 45 stores across California with the services of Drizly. The retailer is making its inventory at those stores available to users of the Drizly website and mobile app. Online inventory visibility includes full price transparency and access to loyalty discounts.

Drizly also provides BevMo! with proprietary ID verification technology. BevMo! uses its own personnel and vehicles to fulfill delivery orders in under 60 minutes.

"What better time to introduce under 60-minute delivery, than just in time for Valentine's Day, when consumers are planning a romantic night in?"

BevMo!'s range of soft drinks, juices, mixers and gifts will also be available on the Drizly platform. The Drizly mobile app and website offer additional features such as cocktail recipes, pro tips and popular adult beverage trends.

BevMo! has been expanding its omnichannel shopping offerings. In December 2018, the retailer introduced a mobile app that enables customers to place click-and-collect orders at local stores, as well as search inventory of multiple stores for hard-to-find-items and directly access loyalty rewards and coupons.
