Brandy Richardson has served in the C-suite at Tailored Brands since late 2021.

Saks Global has tapped a new finance chief.

The multi-brand luxury retail company has announced the appointment of Brandy Richardson as CFO, effective Aug. 18. She succeeds interim CFO Mark Weinsten, who joined Saks Global to lead the company's finance organization through the initial stages of its transformation following its acquisition of Neiman Marcus Group (NMG) last December.

Richardson joins Saks Global from Tailored Brands Inc., the parent company of Men's Wearhouse, Jos. A. Bank, Moores and K&G Fashion Superstore, where she has served as executive VP and CFO since late 2021. Richardson spent the majority of her career at NMG where she held several finance leadership roles of increasing responsibility over her 15-year tenure, including finance chief from March 2020 to November 2021.

"With her deep background in both luxury retail and finance, Brandy is the right leader to drive Saks Global's financial performance as we execute on our ambitious transformation strategy and capitalize on the significant growth opportunity within the luxury market," said Marc Metrick, CEO of Saks Global Operating Group. "Brandy joins us at a time of great momentum on our journey to redefine luxury shopping. I'm confident that her strong leadership and strategic perspective will position us for long-term sustainable growth and value creation."

Tailored Brands says it has launched a search for a successor ahead of Richardson’s planned departure on July 25. In the interim, the existing finance team will report to John Tighe, president and forthcoming CEO, who will take over in the role next month.

“Since joining us in 2021, Brandy has contributed to our successful business and financial transformation,” said Peter Sachse, current Tailored Brands CEO and forthcoming executive chairman. “With a strong foundation in place, I’m confident that with our talented leadership and finance teams we are well-positioned to execute our future growth plans and build on our momentum. I appreciate Brandy’s partnership and leadership over the years and wish her continued success in her next chapter.”

Saks Global’s banners include Neiman Marcus, Bergdorf Goodman, Saks Fifth Avenue and Saks Off 5th. It operates approximately 180 stores.

Headquartered in Houston, Tailored Brands operates more than 1,000 stores across banners, in addition to operating its e-commerce sites.
