Tropical Smoothie Café on fast-track with expansion
Tropical Smoothie Café continues to expand its footprint at a fast clip.
The fast-casual cafe concept will open its 750th location on May 17, in Sugar Land, Texas. The new outpost puts the company one step closer to reaching its goal of opening 130 new cafes in 2019.

Currently, Tropical Smoothie Cafe has 50 franchised locations across the state of Texas, with nine cafes open in the Houston area, and another four expected to open in the market before the end of 2019.
Tropical Smoothie Café opened 110 locations in 2018, and signed 191 franchise agreements. Serving smoothies, wraps, sandwiches, and flatbreads, Tropical Smoothie Cafe now also offers upgraded app technology and enhanced mobile ordering capabilities to further enhance the digital and dine-in cafe experience and emphasize the brand's focus on convenience.
