Target soon won’t be the only discounter to feature an in-store Chobani Cafe.
The popular Greek yogurt brand will open a 2,000-sq-.ft. café at Walmart’s new supercenter in the Houston suburb of Tomball, reported the
Houston Business Journal. The store is scheduled to open on Feb. 15.
To date, Chobani has opened two other in-store cafes, both at Target stores in Manhattan.
The new Walmart Supercenter will boost a number of new features, including a new design and layout, and car-side delivery that includes prescriptions, the report said. It will also be one of the first Walmart stores to use its Scan & Go app, which allows to scan items on their phone while shopping in the store and pay for them instantly, thereby avoiding checkout lines.
