Dunkin’ Brands' initiative to upgrade its Dunkin’ Donuts store network is moving ahead at full steam.
The fast-casual giant is investing $100 million in its U.S. business as it seeks to renovate its stores nationwide, with more than half the spending directed towards upgrades to restaurant equipment, reported
CNBC. Restaurants are also adding drive-thru lanes for mobile orders and new design elements. (The brand is also changing its name to simply “Dunkin” in January.)
To date, the initiative is paying off and moving ahead faster than expected, the company said, according to
CNBC.
